Ken Fader Palette Knife Painter
Ken was born in New York and from a very early age showed a natural talent for the arts, including sculpting, pastels, and eventually painting solely with a knife. His parents discouraged him from pursuing an art career so he pursued one as an oral and maxillofacial surgeon. However, throughout his busy and often stressful career, he would turn to art as a form of relaxation.
After many years he decided to turn in his surgeon's scalpel for a palette knife, and begin his next adventure as a painter.
His work is now featured in several galleries in the US and he has been commissioned by private parties for many more works.
He uses pastoral scenes of landscapes, small villages, nature, simple everyday life as the backdrop for his use of bold color and texture.
Recently Ken has partnered with Jain Goodall and 100% of sales of new art go to her foundation.
